Soap Making Questions

Have soap making questions? You're not alone! We all have questions....lots of them in fact.

Soap making is such a vast subject with so many variations that I don't think anyone could ever know everything there is to know about it.

That's part of the draw...it's always new and exciting!

Previously, I was answering questions through the 'Contact' form but I eventually came to realize that the answers would be helpful to many others as well.

By using the form below, the questions you have about making soap can be published right here on this site and everyone can benefit.

Don't worry if you think your question might be silly...we all start off knowing nothing about soap making.

Learning requires asking questions...and receiving helpful answers. I will do my best to fulfil that requirement.

If you're still feeling shy, you don't need to post your name. Simply sign your question as 'Anonymous'.

Please leave your email address so I can respond directly to your question if it is too short to turn into a page on this site.

Once you have written and submitted your question, simply click on the button asking to be informed when your question has been published and a box will pop up to enter your email address into.

Sadly, I get many questions that I cannot respond to because there isn't any contact information.

Helpful Tips

Tip #1 - Many of your questions have already been asked and the answers can be found on this site. Visit the Frequently Asked Questions page, the Soap Troubleshooting Guide or use the "Find" box at the top of the page.

Tip #2 - While I know quite a bit about cold process and room temperature soap making, my knowledge base concerning liquid soap making is very slender indeed. I strongly suggest asking those questions at one of the forums that specializes in that topic.

Tip #3When asking questions such as "My soap is too...soft/hard/crumbly/stinky/greasy...etc, What went wrong?" Please be sure to provide enough information so I can try to figure what may have happened. The recipe and details of the steps you took would be very helpful.

Tip #4Not all questions are lengthy enough to turn into a full page on this site. (Google penalizes for short pages) If that is the case, I will email my answer to you directly so be sure to leave an email address. It will not be used for anything else nor will I publish the address in any way.

Ask Your Soap Making Question Here.

***Please read the 'Tips' listed above before you proceed.***

Fill in the form below to submit your soap making question or read the questions already submitted...you never know...the answer to your question might already be here!

Be sure to leave your email address so I can respond to your question. It will not be published or used for any other purpose.

Thanks!
