Half Recipe

Can I divide the basic soap recipe into two? Because I'll be using 2 fruit juices, mango and pineapple. So I am planning for example, your 270 grams of coconut oil, I'll make it 135 grams for mango juice, then the other half, 135grams for pineapple?

Answer:

Yes, recipes can be divided but I strongly recommend running the divided recipe through a lye calculator before you make it to be sure the recipe has been correctly calculated.
