Help with Molds

by Cynthia
(Oregon)

I have several flexible molds that are not silicon and I am having a really hard time getting the soap out of these molds. I've read thru all of your question and answers and nothing addressed this. They are intricate flower molds and tropical fish molds. Very cool but can't get them out. Please help!!
Thanks!
Cynthia

Answer:

Some molds can be very difficult to remove cold process soap from.

I've used some flexible plastic molds in the past and found the easiest way to remove the soap was to pop the mold into the freezer. Once the soap has frozen solid, remove the mold and leave it to sit until a dew forms on the outside of the mold and then it should pop out without much trouble.

Good luck,
Cathy
