Soap came too hard

After 24 hours had passed, I went to cut soap into bars and the soap was too hard. It cracked and crumbled...what did I do wrong?

Without more information, it's hard to say.

Hard, crumbly soap can be the result of miss-measuring the lye so that the soap is lye heavy.

Another option could be that the recipe is really high in hard oils like coconut oil.
