What is a good label program?

I am trying to cut costs down as much as possible so I have been trying to make my own labels. Everything I have done seems so black and white and plain. Every free label designer program I find is just not exciting. I know other crafters are doing there own designs and printing their own labels. Any suggestions on some software I can buy or website to check out. I already looked at myownlabels.com but that is too pricey for me because I have a lot of products. Thanks!

Mary,

When I first started making soap I used a Printmaster program...it's fairly cheap, easy to use and comes with lots of clip art.

Now I use Microsoft Word to make labels. Their website has a ton of clip art and I find the program to be quite simple to use.

Good luck,
Cathy

I use microsoft office publisher. I personally love it! Plus online there are millions of free clip art to use. But I generally draw out my own and upload them. Or design them with a paint program. Designing your own labels is so much more personal, cheaper, and gives me such a great sence of satisfaction. Plus if your looking for ideas with label layouts just surf etsy and see what others are doing. Then personalize it!

I have been looking around at Office Depot, etc. I have tried the Microsoft Word and I may need to update my version because the clip art on mine isn't that great. I have seen other Print Master software that goes along with the Avery Labels and I may just try that. Thanks so much for the reply and if anyone else has any advice, let me know. I will check back.
