Hot Process Soap Too Soft

Hi there! I have made 2 batches of hot process soap with an oven and the soap went through all the stages correctly, but after pouring it into molds and what-not, it has sat for over 24 hours and is still a bit too soft. When it hits the water it feels slimy, like how a bar of soap feels after sitting in water for too long. Any suggestions?

I would start by checking the recipe for any errors. Run it through a lye calculator and see how it looks.

Then check to see if the recipe is really high in soft oils. If the recipe doesn't contain enough hard oil in it, you may find that the soap does not become very hard itself.
