Making Soap in Honduras

by Rikaine
(Honduras)

I am just wondering as I look into the idea of making soap, can I do this in a very hot country like Honduras?

I don't know the whole process yet and am reading all I can. I am thinking that this will help my family and make a business as well. However, I'm not sure if weather conditions are a factor. It gets very hot in our house since we do not have air conditioning.

Any suggestions? Thanks for any and all info. I appreciate it.

Answer:

It is possible to make soap in hot locations but I do feel it needs to be stored in a cool, dry room.

Here in Canada, I've found the soap doesn't last as long if left in the heat of the summer so I would imagine it to be the same anywhere.

Good luck,
Cathy
