lye and Oils temperature

For saving vitamins do you recommend to mix oils and lye water at really low temperature like... in room temperature?

Answer:

I'm not sure that it really makes much of a difference whether you use the room temperature method or the CP method when it comes to preserving vitamins in the oils during the soap making process.

Sodium Hydroxide is highly corrosive and the saponification process creates a harsh environment. There is much debate on the topic...do any vitamins survive this process? I do not know but I doubt that pre-melting the oils will have an impact that compares anywhere near to the saponification process.
