How to make a cleansing bar without lye.

Do you have a formula for a bar soap without lye?

I know it can be done. I have made it a few years back but lost my recipe.

Pleas help me.

Answer:

I am unaware of any method of creating soap that doesn't use lye in it at some point of the process...sorry.

You could buy a melt and pour soap base. The soap base is made using lye but you don't need to handle the lye since that part of the process has been completed before you purchase it.
