Red palm butter
Hello, I wanted to ask is red palm butter the same as unrefined palm oil?
Answer:
Palm oil is naturally an orange/yellow colour. In order to make it a creamy off-white colour it is refined. Both refined and unrefined palm oils can be used interchangably in soap making recipes.
The unrefined palm oil is also referred to as red palm oil/butter, african palm oil/butter or palm fruit oil.
