Foaming Butter

I am wondering about your foaming butter recipe. You indicated using one pound of foaming butter but when I ordered the ingredient it had a warning "DO NOT PROCESS WITH LESS THAN 5 LBS". Other websites had different amounts. Is it ok to make this recipe with 1 lb if they have that warning? What is the cause for this warning? I do not want to make this recipe with 5 lbs of foaming butter. Please help.

Answer:

I've made the soap with only one pound without any problem. Not sure why they say to use 5 lbs. I bought mine through New Directions Aromatics.
