Dries My Hands

I have made several batches of soap that have turned out pretty good but I am still in the learning process.

The last two batches I made felt good while washing but made my skin feel very dry after.

Is it because there is too much lye, not enough oils, or what.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.
