Please tell me Free fatty acid (as oleic acid) content range in Soap.

Answer:

The amount of free fatty acids in the form of oleic acid in a soap bar would depend on the amount of the lye discount you are using and on what type of oils you are using in your soap recipe.

Even with that information, I have no idea how you could determine which fatty acids have formed bonds with the sodium hydroxide and which have not. There is probably some scientific experiment that can figure this out but I'm definitely not a scientist!
