Pigment flakes for soap?

Is it possible to use pigment flakes that I have for soapmaking?
I have a lot of pigment flakes because I used to make a lot of candles, and I'm getting into a soapmaking world, so my question is:
Can I use my pigment flakes to colour my soap and if it is safe for human use?

Sorry but I am unfamiliar with pigment flakes and what they are made out of.
Your best bet to find out if they are safe for use in soap making is to contact the manufacturer or supplier.
