Using essential oils

If you find a recipe with the oils you want, yet want to change the essential oil it calls for, will the recipe still work?

Answer:

You most certainly can change the scent. Essential oils and fragrance oils are extras that are added into the recipe...the recipe doesn't depend on them to work.

As I mentioned in your last question Adding Essential Oils you can add anywhere from 2% - 5% of the weight in oils.

I also strongly recommend making a much smaller batch than 8 lbs.
