Floating soap

Using say a glycerin base melt and pour soap, what can I do to make it float or is there another base I can use to make a melt and pour soap that floats?

Answer:

Air makes soap float. A soap that is full of air bubbles will float. I've never tried to make a melt and pour soap float before!

I wonder what would happen if you melted the soap base and then put it in a mix master on low. Would the soap thicken as it cools? If it did, you could then increase the speed of the beaters to incorporate bubbles into the thicker soap base. Might be worth a try.

Hopefully some of our readers here will give some of their ideas on how to make a melt and pour soap float.

I was wondering the same thing. Do you think taking a small straw and blowing some bubbles of air into the soap before it completely hardens would work?
