Preservative for goat milk lotion?

by Jackie

I want to make a goat milk lotion bar, what can I use for a preservative for the milk? All lotions say to refridgerate and i want something different. Please anyone have a all natural product I can use?
thanks Jackie

Answer:

Start by visiting my page on preservatives where you will find a few options that are available.

You could also use the "Find" box at the top of any of my pages. Type in preservative and you will get back quite a few links to questions that have been asked about preservatives.

My suggestion would be one of the Optiphen products that are available since they are recommended for lotion type products and are urea and paraben free.

Good luck,
Cathy
