Using tea tree oil

I used almost a tablespoon of tea tree oil in my melt and pour soap, which was about 25 oz. Is this too much? Thanx! Tracy

Answer:

Tea Tree oil is pretty strongly scented...it can be easy to over scent with it.

One tablespoon is 15 ml and if you are using 25 oz (1.5 pounds) of soap base, that doesn't sound like too much but you will have to determine for yourself if the scent is too strong.
