Substitute and change recpie

Can I change recipe from palm oil to vegetable oil or another oil I already have?
Answer:
Visit my page about Soap Making Oils and scroll down to the heading "Formulating A Recipe".
You will find the information you need there. Basically you can substitute any oil for another oil but the resulting soap will perform differently since each oil has different properties.
Also...remember that with EVERY change you make to the oils in a soap making recipe you will need to run the recipe through a lye calculator to get the new amount of sodium hydroxide (lye) needed.
