Ideal conditions for curing soap

First of all I love your blog! I was wondering if you could tell me the ideal condition for curing soap?

I am going to be making my first batch soon, but I don't feel as though I have the right conditions for curing it. So what would be the ideal conditions and conditions that would be tolerable?

Thanks so much!
Valery

Answer:

Soap should be cured in a cool, dry location out of direct sunlight.

Place the soaps on a tray so that the edges are not touching. Pop/beer flats that are lined with paper towel work great.

Store the flats in a dry room. Do not store the soaps (cured or uncured) in a location that has high humidity.

Hope that helps.
