Fruit Juice in Hot process

I want to ask you some questions about the fruit juice in hot process.

When the fruit juice can be added in the hot process and how?

Can I use fruit juice instead of water to dissolved the lye or I add one part water and one part juice or I dissolved the lye with water and later I add the juice?

Answer:

You can do it either way. Add the lye to the juice, or use half the amount of water to dissolve the lye into and add the remaining amount as juice once the soap reaches a light trace.

Since you are experimenting with ingredients you are not used to, it is always advisable to make small batches to start. Experimentation can have some surprising results at times.
