Organizing My Curing Soaps.

Hi,

I love, love your site! I am new at making soap. I have made several successful batches. My problem is I love making soap and I want to make it almost everyday. While I have a small place it is hard to keep my curing soap with their recipes organized. Do you have any suggestion? After making successful batches how do you remember them to refer back to an old recipe? Do you keep samples?

Answer:

I used to keep samples but then I ended up with way too many.

I've found the best method for me was to take a picture of the soap, name the soap and write out a description. I then put it together with the recipe into a binder that has be organized alphabetically by soap name.
