Using Pine Needles in Soap

I have a request for Pine scented soap and was asked if using pine needles (ground) would make the scent last longer. Have you ever used pine needles in soap? Would you recommend it? I am using the cold process method. Thank you.

Answer:

Never used pine needles but I would imagine they would work fine. Don't think they would make the scent last longer though....sorry.
