Tropical Traditions Coconut oil

I have some Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil that just expired. I was planning on using it to make soap. Would that affect my soap at all?
Answer:
If the oil still looks and smells good, I would imagine it will be fine. I do suggest using the soap you make with it as soon as possible since it may go off faster than soap made with fresher ingredients.
