Super fatting soap

I am new to soap-making and am wondering if your cold process soap recipes are already superfatted?

Answer:

Yes, my recipes are superfatted.

The definition of superfatted - "The excess oils left unsaponified in the finished soap. This excess oil contributes to the moisturizing qualities of soap."

On each of my recipes you will find below the Base Ingredients the words Superfat/discount = _%

This means that the recipe has been formulated to have excess oils in the amount listed.

Good luck and happy soaping,
Cathy
