Soap Making Questions

by Bonnie Garrett
(New Brunswick, Canada)

I have been considering making soap but have no idea of any of it but do love your page and information on it, so helpful and beautiful looking soap.

Do you have any for sale at present as I checked on etsy and it seems there is none.

I am wondering if you can help me to give me some ideas as where to begin and can I buy the supplies from you or is there a good place you would suggest.

I am looking to find the fragerance as well I think its called linen&lace?

Any info. would be greatly appreciated!
many thanks Bonnie

Answer:

Thanks Bonnie!

I don't sell my soaps anymore....I just give them to family and friends.

My site doesn't sell any supplies either but if you check out the Suppliers Page you will find lots of choices to purchase them from.

Not sure where to get the Linen and Lace fragrance from...sorry.

Good luck and happy soaping,
Cathy

Fragrance Oils and beginners supplies
by: Debbie in WV

Bonnie~ I found a supplier that sells Linen & Lace fragrance oil for soap. Here's the link... Scroll down the page and you'll see it
http://www.cajuncandles.com/fragrance-oils.html

Also, Summer Bee Meadows is now selling a 3 oil soapmaking, beginners kit....with or without the lye. You may want to check it out. http://summerbeemeadow.com/

You can use alot of things around the house as a mold, just make sure it doesn't contain aluminum. Double check your soaps using a lye calculator. There are lots of these all over the internet...Summer Bee Meadows has one on their website.

I hope this helps. Isn't Cathy's blog the best on the net??!! : D
