Room Temp Method

by Jen

I am ready to make my first batch and wanted to know if you recommend using the room temp method for a beginner. It sounds incredibly easy, as far as I can tell the only difference from CP is not heating the oils.

Is the curing time the same?

Answer:

It is quite easy but the instructions I have listed for the room temperature method are very basic and assume that you already know how to make cold process soap.

I suggest reading up on the cold process method before attempting the room temperature method since much of the cold process method (other than parts of steps 3 and 4) is the same except for the having to bring the oils and lye solution to approximately the same temperature.

Cure time is the same as well.

Good luck,
Cathy
