i have a small quantity of shea butter (around 10 kgm) they have a bad smell . how can i remove this smell before using them in soAP MAKING
Answer:
Dear Farah,
Unfortunately, I am unfamiliar with the processes involved with deodorizing oils and butters.
Undeodorized shea butter should have a pleasant, mild nutty odor...it should not smell bad at all.
If your shea butter smells bad, I would imagine that it has gone rancid and is no longer suitable for soap making.
