Do I Need license for handmade soap?

First of all I want to appreciate your great cooperation for replying my emails.

Can you please let me know what kind of license do I need for selling my soap in California? I mean... do all of those soap sellers who sell handmade soap online or on Sunday market have license or something like FDA approval?

As for your local laws, you will have to contact your city's government agency that oversees this type of thing.

Everywhere in the country will have slightly different laws concerning the sale of handmade products and what guidelines you will need to follow.
