Dead Sea Mud Soap

Hi,

I've been using your recipes for quite a while now. I love them! Almost always a perfect batch! I recently have been hearing a lot of great things about dead sea mud and I wanted to know if you have ever tried using it in soap and how much you would suggest for a 2lb soap batch.

Would you possibly consider making a recipe on here sharing how to do it?

Answer:

Hi Dinah,

Glad you like the site!

Using Dead Sea Mud in a soap is something I have yet to try. I will put it on my wish list of ingredients to purchase in the future!!

I did some looking for you and found that the powdered Dead Sea Mud is recommended to be added to soap at a ratio of 1 Tablespoon per pound of soap. If it's not powdered then I guess I would start with somewhere around 1 - 2 Tablespoons.

As for posting the recipe....I will definitely post it once I've had a chance to try it.

Good luck with the experiment!!
Cathy
