Curing CPOP Soap
by Debbie

I've been trying out all of the different soap making processes and love them all. Im a little confused about CPOP.
When I checked the soap after I cut it (24 hours after removing it from the oven), I didn't get a zap from it and the PH level was 9.5.
Does that mean that there is no need to let the soap cure for the 3-4 week period? Is this just another form of HP?
Thanks for all of your help!

Answer:This question is getting asked quite a bit lately and I've posted a link to my previous reply below.
I'm guessing that this method has been getting alot of attention in the forums lately?
As we get closer and closer to Christmas, quicker methods of getting our soaps ready becomes much more appealing.
I completely understand....time is so hard to come by these days.
Unfortunately, I haven't seen any evidence that CPOP soaps are ready any faster than regular CP soaps.

Cold Process/Oven ProcessIf anyone has any information supporting or refuting the ability to skip cure for CPOP...it would be greatly appreciated.
