Cooking Oils

Can I use the oils available at the local grocery that says it's a "cooking oil"?

Is it alright to use those even though it says that its pure coconut, palm or olive oil?

Answer:

You definitely can use cooking grade oils in soapmaking. "Cooking Oil" just means that these oils are okay to use in cooking and for eating whereas some soapmaking oils are not food grade and would not be suitable for eating but are perfect for soapmaking.
