Confectioner's Sugar

I noticed many of your soap recipes call for confectioner's sugar. I was wondering why you add this to your soap? What are the benefits?

This is an often asked question and you can find the answer here and here.

Just remember, it is not a mandatory ingredient and can be left out of any recipe I have listed it in.
