Base Oils - Pure (?)

Nice site - I am semi-green to the cold soap process and started out using a pre-made soap kit to see if I liked soap making.
k - LOVE IT

My only question or questions are how does one know they are getting the purest base oils possible without synthetics? I am not sure when reading the wholesalers description about the bleached and deordorized (?).

Thanks Holly

Answer:

Manufactures often bleach and deodorize oils because the oils may have a colour and smell that is unpleasant or unwanted. Many sellers will include information on the processes used to make the oils and/or MSDS sheets. If they don't, try sending them an email requesting the info.

You can purchase unbleached and non-deodorized oils if you like the idea of complete purity.
