Air bubbles in cold process soap

by Miriam Fields
(Houston, TX)

I just recently went to using a stick blender to make my cps. I have tried to follow the stick blender instructions to a T. However I continue to get small air bubbles trapped in my soap. How do I eliminate them?

Answer:

Once your soap has reached a thin to medium trace and after any colour or botanical matter has been added, switch to a long handled spoon to gently mix the soap. This helps to untrap air bubbles.

Good luck,
Cathy
