Because the eo's cause the soap batter to trace too soon, do you add your different colorants, mix, and then add a portion of your eo's to each different color?

What are some other tricks to keepin your soap from tracing before you get a chance to marble?

Answer:

It depends...sometimes I add the essential oils before deviding it to colour but only if they don't excelerate the batch quickly.

The only other way is as you said...devide the soap batter and the essential oils up into portions. Then add the colour to each portion and then the essential oils.

It's really a matter of learning how your essential oils react and learning to work really fast.
