About essential Oils

Hello! I am new in adding essential oils. As I have read, when making natural perfumes, it is necessary to dilute the essential oils in a carrier oil such as Jojoba oil. Do I still need to dilute essential oils before adding it to the soap? By the way, I'm using Cold Process method.

No Ed, you do not need to dilute the essential oils when you are adding them to cold process soap. They become diluted by the soap itself.

The standard amount to add to a soap base is between 3% - 5% of the base oils. In other words, if you have 1000 grams of base oils then you can add from 30 to 50 grams of essential oil to the soap batter.
